In Taiwan, the Moon Festival means one thing barbecue.This tradition started in the mid-1980s, when a sauce company wanted to increase their sales.They knew families got together for big meals at this time.Therefore, they decided to encourage everyone to barbecue by using their sauce.Their commercials convinced a lot of people to try it.Soon, everyone loved the idea of eating together outside and gazing at the beautiful full moon.Barbecuing is a modern tradition that will probably be a part of the Moon Festival for a long time to come.Luckily for us, it has made celebrating the Moon Festival more fun and delicious than ever before.
